Koh Lanta has loads of stray dogs. They must be some of the loneliest dogs in the world because they are always looking for someone to follow around somewhere. These three dogs, who look strangely similar, all live on different paths to the ocean from the place that I stayed. As soon as I, or anyone else for that matter started to walk towards the ocean, they would join me and trot alongside. Once they all gathered at the ocean they would play fight each other and eventually come sit along your side and watch the sea.

The strange thing is that they would never come alone and they would always leave with you as soon as there were too few people left on the beach. They just wanted someone to give them some attention and it really broke my heart at times.
